SHOOTING INCIDENTS REPORTED ACROSS CAPE FLATS

Fight Against Crime SA (FACSA) reports three shooting-related incidents from late Sunday night into the early hours of Monday, 31 August 2026:

• Delft South – 22:31: A 15-year-old girl was shot dead inside a shack on Sering Road.

• Ravensmead – 23:33: Gunshots were heard in Clare Street, Connaught Estate.

• Valhalla Park – 00:56: A man was shot in the leg in Tiedenman Street, near the new houses.
