Police seek public’s help to identify persons of interest in kwaMashu murder

KwaMashu police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying and locating two persons of interest who may have information about a murder in Siyanda.

Detectives are investigating the murder of 42-year-old Innocent Xolani Magwaza, who was allegedly stabbed to death along a road near his residence on Tuesday, 21 July 2026.

A murder case was opened following the incident, and investigators believe the individuals pictured could provide crucial information that may assist in the investigation.

Police are urging anyone who can identify the persons of interest or knows their whereabouts to contact Sergeant Ngubane on 079 500 0703 or the Crime Stop hotline on 08600 10111.

All information received will be treated with strict confidentiality, police said.
