Johannesburg High Court: - *S v Vusimuzi Cat Matlala and others*, - charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder and Attempted Murder related to the alleged attempt to kill his then girlfriend Tebogo Thobejane and others. *07 September for continuation of trial.*

Randburg Magistrates Court: - *S v Stuart Scharnick (40) - Firearms Control Act contraventions* - The accused allegedly relocated from his Douglasdale residence without notifying the Central Firearms Registry and was further found to have allegedly failed to store one of his firearms in a prescribed safe. *07 September for further bail hearing.*

Germiston Magistrates’ Court: - *S v Molemo Katleho Maarohanye (Jub Jub)* - charged with discharging a firearm in a public place and pointing anything likely to lead a person to believe that it is a firearm, related to an incident involving an e-hailing driver in Edenvale on 14 June 2026. *07 September for further investigation.*

Boksburg Magistrates’ Court: - *S v Cheslyn Collins, Jamal Meyer and Reagan Crawford* facing Four Counts of Murder in connection with the fatal shooting of two SAPS Anti-Gang Unit officers and two civilians in Reiger Park. *08 September for further bail hearing.*

Johannesburg High Court: - *S v Sithembiso Mdlalose* - charged in connection with the deaths of 76 people and the fatal injuries sustained by 12 others at Usindiso Building. *09 September for further trial.*

Johannesburg High Court: - *S v Bafana Mahungela* - Kidnapping, Robbery with Aggravating Circumstances and Murder. Accused of killing a teacher who was jogging in Sandton. *11 September for Judgement.*

Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court: *S v Oupa Brown Mogotsi* facing charges including unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, perjury and defeating the ends of justice following an alleged staged assassination attempt in Vosloorus. *11 September for further bail hearing.
