Durban Fashion Fair celebrates 15 years of nurturing fashion talent

The Durban Fashion Fair (DFF) will mark 15 years of nurturing emerging fashion talent when its milestone showcase takes place at the Durban Exhibition Centre from 16 to 18 September.

Held under the theme “Where Legacy Lives”, the three-day event will bring together about 84 designers from South Africa and other African countries.

The showcase will feature established and emerging designers from Zimbabwe, Namibia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Botswana and Seychelles, as well as designers from Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Graduates of the DFF Class of 2026 mentee programme will also take to the runway as the event highlights the next generation of fashion talent.

Over the past 15 years, the Durban Fashion Fair has provided a platform for designers to showcase their work, develop their brands and access opportunities within the fashion industry.

The anniversary edition is expected to celebrate the fair’s contribution to the local fashion sector while looking towards its future.

The first show each evening will start at 18:00, with the final show scheduled for 21:00.
