Double murder under investigation after two men found dead near Coega

SAPS Swartkops detectives are appealing for information following the deaths of two men and the serious assault of another near the R334 in the Coega area, Gqeberha.

Police received a complaint at about 10:23 on Saturday, 19 September, and responded to the scene, where they found three men with serious assault-related injuries.

Two of the victims, both believed to be about 30 years old, were declared dead at the scene. The third man was taken to hospital for medical treatment.

Police have not yet established the circumstances surrounding the attack, while the motive and identities of the suspect or suspects remain unknown.

The identities of the deceased will be released once their next of kin have been formally informed.
