🌧️⛈️🌬️ This WEEKEND the CUT-OFF LOW continues to move further eastwards, bringing SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS, HEAVY RAIN and STRONG WINDS to several parts of the country.

🟠 Orange Level 5: Severe Thunderstorms leading to flooding of susceptible settlements and roads, strong gusty winds and hail causing damage to structures and falling trees, as well as municipal service outages due to excessive lightning activity, are expected over the central parts of the Northern Cape.
🟡 Yellow Level 4: Severe Thunderstorms leading to localized flooding of susceptible settlements and roads, strong gusty winds and hail causing damage to structures and falling trees, as well as municipal service outages due to excessive lightning activity, are expected over the central and eastern parts of the Northern Cape, as well as the extreme western parts of North West.
🟡 Yellow Level 2: Severe Thunderstorms leading to localized wind and hail damage to structures and falling trees, as well as local fire incidents due to excessive lightning, are expected over the Free State and most parts of North West.
🟡 Yellow Level 2: Damaging winds and waves leading to disruption of ports and harbours, as well as danger to navigation at sea, are expected from Richards Bay to Kosi Bay.
🟡 Yellow Level 2: Damaging winds leading to disruption of ports and harbours, as well as danger to navigation at sea, are expected from Cape Town to Cape Agulhas.
