The trial of controversial Limpopo musician Lehlohonolo Chauke, better known as Shebe Maburna, has been postponed to May 2027. Chauke’s trial was postponed by the Polokwane Regional Court to 17 to 21 May 2027 following a pre-trial conference held on Thursday. Regional spokesperson Mashudu Malabi said the State intends to call 22 witnesses during the trial. “During the pre-trial conference, the State indicated that it intends to call 22 witnesses,” Malabi said.
