Update: Three arrested for murder of popular Malamulele comedian Skeem Mafenya

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of popular Malamulele comedian and content creator Khadziyane Ndivhuwo, known as Skeem Mafenya.
The 20-year-old was fatally stabbed at Madonsi Boltman B in the Malamulele policing area, Limpopo, in the early hours of Saturday, 17 October.
The arrests follow a police manhunt after the killing, which sent shockwaves through the community.
Police said they received a report at about 03:35 on Saturday about a person lying motionless inside a yard.
Upon arrival, officers found Ndivhuwo on the ground with multiple stab wounds to his upper body. Emergency Medical Services personnel declared him dead.
It is alleged that a community member heard a knock at the door and, upon looking through a window, noticed a man bleeding profusely.
The suspects, aged between 17 and 23, were arrested on Saturday afternoon following an intelligence-driven operation in the Malamulele policing area.
The motive for the murder remains unknown.
The three suspects are expected to appear in the Malamulele Magistrate's Court soon on a charge of murder.
Limpopo police commissioner Lieutenant General Jan Petrus Scheepers condemned the killing and welcomed the arrests.
“We commend the swift response by the police that led to the arrest of the three suspects. We will monitor this case closely to ensure that the suspects are held accountable for the senseless killing through the criminal justice system,” Scheepers said.
