𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝟭𝟯 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (Sanral) advises motorists of temporary closures of the M13 offramp at Paradise Valley (Exit 17) to facilitate the installation of the deck widening cantilever edge support.

𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲

The M13 offramp at Paradise Valley will be fully closed during the following periods

𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝟭

From 20:00, Wednesday 9 September to 04:30, Thursday 10 September 2026. Traffic will be diverted via the N3 Westbound Carriageway and join the M13 via the M1 Richmond Road

Motorists are urged to exercise caution around the Stoffberg Avenue subway in Brakpan following the heavy rainfall experienced in the area. The subway has a history of flooding during periods of heavy rain, and road users are advised to avoid entering the underpass if water has accumulated across the roadway.

If you encounter significant standing or rising water, turn around and use an alternative route.
